After 2+ years building, many brain breaking moments (and more chocolate eaten than I care to admit 🙊) the MyHappy.Horse virtual equine nutritionist has taken it’s first tiny little steps out into the world!
Our wonderful and brave pre-launch members were given access to the horse nutrition app via TestFlight on Friday afternoon, the 10th of the 10th, 2025… a date with significance as it was my beautiful grandmothers birthday (she would have been 103!).
My Nan and her Dad, ‘Poppa”, are, I’m pretty sure, where my love of horses came from… I had no intention of this being the launch date, in fact initially it was set for the 11/02/25, then sometime in June, then 1st of August… we just weren’t close enough on any of these date to actually launch!
But as October rolled around, we put a line in the sand, and said the 10th it will be!! After many a long hour (big big thanks to our amazing Matt!!)
The freaky thing was, I named the project in its software ‘container’ ‘MyHappy.Horse-1010 more than 2 years ago… coincidence then that we were able to release on this date… probably not 💫😄😂
As it happened, with all the building and planning and attention to detail for more than 24 months, I ended up accidentally sending it out about 2 hours earlier than planned, with a version I had never used, going ‘oh no, oh no, oh noooo’ 😂… oh dear me!! 🙈
Clearly, it was ready to move out of home and there was no stopping it! 😂💜
Our plan… is to have it submitted to the app store by the end of this week (17th October 2025) and then it will be available, on iOS at some point in the next few weeks (depending on how long Apple take to approve it!).
